Social Media for Nonprofits is the world’s only conference series dedicated to social media for social good, and this year their San Francisco conference is expanding to include a nonprofit boot camp. Previously produced by the Craigslist Foundation, the October 10, 2013 boot camp will feature four educational tracks including: Marketing, Technology, Fundraising and Nonprofit Fundamentals. If you register for both the bootcamp and the October 11 conference, you’ll save 25%. PLUS, if you use the code ‘Heller’ in your registration you’ll receive an additional $30 off, making this two day event as low as $220 total!

Speakers at the boot camp include Chip Conley, an author and former TED speaker who will be giving the keynote on Thursday, October 10th about helping your nonprofit operate at its peak performance. After the keynote session and some words from sponsors, attendees will be selecting different educational tracks on specific areas to help their nonprofits.

Boot Camp Sessions

The nonprofit basics track has sessions on employment law myths, creating value through employee development and strategic board recruitment while the marketing track will discuss creating a communications game plan, how to approach your newsletters and searching for good, a session on search engines and adwords. The fundraising track will focus on integrating your fundraising strategies, jumpstarting your individual giving and reality grant making with the Technology track will concentrate on sessions like trends in technology, how to use Google grants for your organization and working with design studios.

The session titles alone are reason enough to go, but take a look at some of the speakers they have lined up for the boot camp on October 10th and Conference on October 11th:

We analyzed the tweets from #SM4NP’s event in Austin a few months ago, and there was a ton of great content shared from those attendees.
