Nonprofit Starter Pack and NGO Connect Review

Nonprofit Starter Pack and NGO Connect: Unique solutions for unique organizations

Nonprofit Starter Pack and NGO Connect are two separate entities of the Salesforce1 for Nonprofits Family. While each is part of a long-term roadmap for how an organization can realize the vision of a true Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) and becoming a Connected Nonprofit, they are different applications for different organizations.

Each solution has strengths designed to address the specific fundraising needs of each organization depending on its fundraising approach and goals. As a premier partner working with Salesforce, Heller Consulting has a deep understanding of these two solutions and how they apply to your organization. Heller released a white paper, Nonprofit Starter Pack and NGO Connect: Unique solutions for unique organizations, that is built to help you decide which application works best for your organization’s specific needs.

The paper aims to give you a practical understanding of both solutions and what they mean to your organization. In addition, Heller shares their favorite features and highlight aspects that your organization should consider when deciding which solution is right for you.

Topics include:

  • Data Model and Functionality
  • Demographics
  • Financial Features

About Emma Shipley

I have always held a passion for community involvement, fundraising, and volunteering, which has brought me in touch with a number of nonprofit organizations. During my time at Indiana University, I worked with the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network to connect citizens with their ideal volunteer experience while promoting volunteerism in the community. In addition, I spent the summer of 2012 working as a mentor for adolescent girls ages 5-15 at Girls, Incorporated of Monroe County. I received my degree in Journalism with a focus in Marketing and Visual Communications. In my free time, I enjoy live music, visiting farmer’s markets, trying new recipes, and exploring Chicago.
