The Connected Cause is Heading to Dreamforce 2013 #df13


Conference season is in full force here at The Connected Cause. Heller Consulting recently returned from Social Media 4 Nonprofits in San Francisco, NetHope Summit in Chicago and Blackbaud’s BBCON in Washington DC which was also attended by Firefly Partners. Coming up next is Salesforce’s Dreamforce 2013 conference in San Francisco from November 18th-21st which will be attended by both Idealist Consulting and Heller Consulting. We’ve already told you that is sponsoring the NPO Engagement party on Wednesday, November 20th but we need to let you know where else to find us at Dreamforce.

Foundation Zone

Most of our time will be spent at the Hilton Union Square Hotel, which is where the Foundation Zone is located this year (click for a bigger image):

Listening Good, The Gates Foundation on Social at 2:30 on Monday the 18th where Jennifer Phillips will be speaking about social media monitoring and how your nonprofit can use social media alongside your global programs.
MVP Throwdown on Monday at 1 at the Marriott Marquis where Salesforce MVPs (including Heller’s own Mary Pustejovsky) share stories of their success, brainstorm cool ways to use technology and chat with Salesforce Product Managers about how they can improve the product.
Marketing Cloud/Service Cloud: You Got Your Social in My CRM 1 at the Westin on Thursday the 21st at 11 am where Barbara Campbell will show you how to extend your integration between social and Salesforce CRM using Radian6. Join us to learn how you can bring social content into the Service Cloud from Radian6.
Service Every Customer at the Speed of Now: The Future of Mobile Service Cloud at the Palace Hotel on Tuesday, November 19th at 12:30 PM. NPO Engagement Party

The #npoengagement party is hosted by our partners at Idealist Consulting and includes a cupcake bar, DJ, open bar, great company and a photo booth – complete with props! All nonprofit organizations are welcome, however we recommend you RSVP as wristbands are required!
